Alyssa Bruehlman, MD

Alyssa is an instructor of family medicine and addiction medicine at the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (Penn Medicine).

Alyssa received her B.A. from Emory University and her M.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency followed by fellowships in academic medicine and addiction medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she also worked as a PCP and clinical instructor for a family medicine residency-affiliated federally qualified health center. Her specific clinical interests include integrating person-centered and harm reduction-focused addiction care within primary, perinatal, and hospital care settings.
