If you have read the news recently, chances are you have seen something about the opioid epidemic, vaping or marijuana.
After a very steep incline in deaths, federal, state and local efforts began to look at opioid overdose deaths and ways to address the crisis. Young adults are now being treated in hospitals for lung-related illnesses due to vaping devices. Medical Marijuana is now legal in Pennsylvania and conversation has started regarding recreational legalization. And what you may not have heard yet is our area is seeing an increase in Methamphetamine and Cocaine use.
