World No Tobacco Day

What is World No Tobacco Day?

World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) is observed around the world every year on the last day of May. This tobacco holiday, like Kick Butts Day or Great American Smokeout, was created to bring greater awareness to the harmful effects of tobacco. WNTD specifically focuses on the business practices of tobacco companies, and what people around the world can do to claim their right to health and healthy living and to protect future generations. For more information, visit the WHO website.
