HERO Campaign Promotes Designated Drivers in Berks County

Designated drivers save lives. The Council on Chemical Abuse is promoting the use of designated drivers by bringing the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign to Berks County. Through the HERO Campaign, we are inviting individuals to take the Berks County HERO pledge online and receive a digital HERO ID card that entitles them to a free soft drink at participating HERO establishments.

To date, more than 35 Berks County bars and restaurants have signed on as HERO establishments, and more are joining every week.
