Websites can be great tools to get the conversation started about drugs and alcohol in the classroom. Below are a few educational resources we suggest to get started!

Alcohol Fx – An app to teach students about the effects of alcohol on the brain
Drugs + Your Body
 – from Scholastic, a website with images and information on how drugs affect the body
Medicine Abuse Project – interactive resource for parents and educators on prescription drug abuse
Mouse Party by University of Utah – Game demonstrates the effects of different drug use on the brain
National Institute on Drug Abuse – activities to teach about drug abuse, and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle
University of Utah- The Science of Addiction: Genetics and the Brain– interactive educational activities around the science of addiction
Xperiment – site provides an interactive way to demonstrate how various drugs effect the body

COCA’S educational prevention program’s being offered FREE to Berks County schools for the 2019-20 school year.
