The Berks Recovery Walk took place on Saturday, September 20th, beginning at Recovery Coaching Services on Penn St. in Reading and proceeded about one-mile to the RISE Recovery Center, at 702 N 8th St. The walk ended with a Recovery Celebration that included refreshments and a butterfly release. The Berks Recovery Walk has been a staple in Berks County for over 20 years, providing an opportunity to celebrate people in recovery and to raise awareness that people can and do recover from substance use disorder and go on to live full, productive lives.
