COCA Camp Challenge

COCA’s Summer CAMP Challenge kicks off June 29th!

Here at COCA we love summertime! Every summer our prevention staff visits playgrounds to provide fun activities that teach important drug and alcohol prevention lessons. This summer we can’t visit youth face to face, so we have created unique, entertaining prevention education activities for Berks County families. For summer 2020, we present COCA’s Creative Activities for Meaningful Prevention (CAMP) Challenge!

Join the Challenge!

Each week, COCA will provide new family fun activities and an engaging parent video lesson on a prevention topic. Participating partner sites will have the opportunity to win a pizza party! Recommended for students in grades K-6.

How the COCA CAMP Challenge Works

Program details

  • CAMP begins on Monday, June 29 and ends July 27.
  • Once a week COCA staff will deliver a supply of CAMP Challenge booklets for camps, libraries and other participating sites to hand out to families. Each booklet will focus on a different prevention topic and include a game board with weekly challenge activities.
  • For each challenge completed, participating families/children color in a game board tile. At the end of each week they can take a picture of their completed game board and share it in a Facebook post (be sure it’s public so we can see it!) Then tag your pick-up location and @COCABerks with the hashtag #COCACAMPCHALLENGE. Game board photos can be posted anytime but must be added before July 31, 2020.
Don’t have Facebook? You can email your photo to for us to post.
  • At the end of our summer CAMP, the partner location with the most posts will win a gift card to host a pizza party!
