National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) – NIDA is a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and supports most of the world’s research on the health aspects of drug abuse and addiction.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) – SAMHSA is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA’s mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America’s communities.

Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) – The DEA’s mission is to protect the public by enforcing the criminal drug laws of the United States and by regulating the commercial distribution of controlled prescription drugs.

American Society of Addiction Medicine – ASAM is a professional medical society supporting professionals in the field of addictive medicine.

Commonwealth Prevention Alliance (CPA) – The CPA is the foremost voice for prevention in Pennsylvania, providing resources for prevention professionals in eliminating substance abuse.
