2024 Berks County Recovery Walk

Help raise awareness and celebrate recovery from substance use disorder with a walk from the COCA Office parking lot at 50 N. 5th St on Sunday, September 8 10AM – 1PM. Walk will begin at 10 AM and proceed about 1 mile to the Berks RISE Center, located at 702 N 8th St. Participants will stop to view the recovery-themed mural on 9th & Oley Streets. A Recovery Celebration will follow immediately after at the RISE center courtyard. All are welcome to attend the celebration which will include:

• Welcome
• Remarks by the Berks County Commissioners and Reading City Mayor
• A moment of silence and prayer
• Release of Butterflies
