“Addiction Doesn’t Define Me” – Kristin’s Story

“Eleven years ago, I hit rock-bottom. After 20 years of actively using drugs and experiencing all of the judgement that comes with it – low self-esteem, feelings of being ‘less-than’ – my family led me to seek treatment. I cannot express in words how my life has changed for the better since being in recovery. I have a life today.” – Kristin S.

This campaign was created as a collaboration between COCA and the Berks County Opioid Coalition – SOS Berks. View more about this campaign and additional testimonials at sosberks.org/addiction

The creation of these testimonials was made possible with funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency. Paid for with Pennsylvania taxpayer dollars.
