Project Sticker Shock is an awareness campaign to educate the public and change attitudes about selling and serving alcohol to anyone under 21. The project organizes youth to place stickers on beer cases in local stores. The stickers contain a warning: “It is illegal to purchase or provide alcohol to anyone under 21”.
Project Sticker Shock involves members of the community working together to reduce underage drinking and its related problems, and to enforce the underage drinking laws. It uses a youth-driven community environmental approach that focuses on those individuals who legally purchase beer then supply it to minors.
