Special Presentation of the movie Ray

RSVP below to join us for a special FREE presentation of the movie Ray, followed by a panel discussion on October 11 from 5:30-8:30 PM at the Reading IMAX Theater, located at 30 N. 2nd St in Reading. The purpose of the presentation is to uplift and educate the community. After the film screening, several community leaders will join together to host a thought-provoking panel discussion, linking Ray’s career journey, struggles with and recovery from substance use disorder, his issues related to being visually impaired, and his success story to real-life issues in our community and how it is possible to overcome and succeed. The goal is to break stigma and share resources available to help those in need.

Panel discussion includes:

Panelists – Ryan Bradley, Person in Long Term Recovery; David Reyher, Program Director of Behavioral Health Alvernia University;  Dr. Ramona Roberts, Sr. Executive Director of Caron Treatment Centers; Lori Peters, Pres./CEO of Vision Resource Center of Berks County; Barbara Werner, Executive Director of Community Prevention Partnership
