Reading Royals – HERO Campaign Promotion

Join us on December 9 at the Reading Royals game!

The Council on Chemical Abuse has once again partnered with the Reading Royals to promote the John R. Elliot HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers® during the 2023-24 season. Through this partnership, COCA Prevention Specialists will set up a table at three games and encourage people to take an online pledge to be HERO Designated Drivers who will agree to serve as designated drivers for family and friends. People who take the pledge will receive FREE tickets to a future Royals game and a FREE reusable, color-changing cup. 

December 9th is the Reading Royals’ Military Night, making it an apt night to promote the John R. Elliot HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers®, which was established in memory of Navy Ensign John Elliott, who was killed in a collision with a drunk driver two months after graduating from the United States Naval Academy in July 2000.
