Due to recent developments related to the COVID-19 virus, the PA Department of Drug & Alcohol Programs has canceled all professional trainings through April 30, 2020. The Council on Chemical Abuse is taking all necessary precautions to keep our community safe and is following the lead of the state. We will continue to monitor this fluid situation as it evolves and follow the mandates of health experts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The emotional and physical cost of being an engaged and empathetic professional can be an occupational hazard. In this free workshop, professionals will be provided with critical steps in identifying signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue, burnout, and vicarious & secondary trauma. Additionally, practical skills and a commitment to self-care will be discussed. Openings for this training are limited, so please register early.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is intended for professionals in the field of drug and alcohol treatment, social work, criminal justice, mental health, EMS, children & youth or education. Two PCB credits will be offered.
