Mindfulness Monday

According to a 2020 study that uses brain imaging scans, the average person has over 6000 thoughts per day!! This can lead to anxiety, frustration and even depression. Mindfulness is a quality of consciousness that is characterized by continually attending to one’s moment-to-moment experiences, thoughts, and emotions with an open, non-judgmental approach.  It is way to slow down and pay attention to the present and experience peace of mind.

Join us on Sept. 9, 23, & 30 from 4 – 5 PM at the RISE Center to take part. Everyone in recovery and their families are welcomed to join.
