DDAP VIRTUAL TRAINING: Ethics in Prevention
This is a two-day DDAP (PA Dept of Drug & Alcohol Programs) training that takes place through ZOOM on Wednesday and Thursday, June 10 – 11, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM BOTH DAYS
This course reviews the six principles in the Prevention Code of Ethics, as well as how to use an ethical decision-making process and to apply the Prevention Code of Ethics.
Please Note: This is a 6-hour virtual training held over the course of two days for 3 hours each day. You MUST be connected with video, audio, and microphone capabilities and stay ON CAMERA for the duration of the training to receive the DDAP certificate of attendance.
DDAP policy states that you must be on camera with a working microphone for the duration of the training to receive credit.

About the Trainer
Stephanie Murtaugh is a 40-year veteran in the field of behavioral health treatment, intervention and prevention. In her recent position as the Director of Clinical Services at Pittsburgh Mercy, Ms. Murtaugh was responsible for Behavioral Health Ambulatory Care, Community Treatment Teams, Physical Health/Behavioral Health Integration, Primary Care, Community Health and Wellness Programming, Homeless services, Grant initiatives, Intervention Services including Hepatitis C Services, Tobacco Prevention/Cessation Services, Alcohol Highway Safety Programming and Drug Court/Community Justice Intervention Services. Additionally, she is a private trainer and consultant in the field of addictions and previously was adjunct faculty at Waynesburg University, Graduate Counseling Program and adjunct faculty at the University of Phoenix, College of Social Sciences.
