DDAP IN-PERSON TRAINING: Motivational Interviewing – Advancing the Practice
This is a DDAP (PA Dept of Drug & Alcohol Programs) training that takes place at the RISE Center on Thursday and Friday, October 22 & 23 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM BOTH DAYS.
* Please Note: This is a 12-hour training held over two days. DDAP policy states that you may not miss more than 30 minutes of the training or a certificate of completion will not be issued.
This 2-day training will give participants the information to respond to individuals with empathic, reflective statements, and to identify change talk within individual speech. Participants will understand when and how to use open-ended questions to elicit change talk. This training is followed by an optional and invitational series of 8 monthly learning collaboratives.
