Community Narcan® Training (Canceled)

Training Canceled for April 9

Due to recent developments related to the COVID-19 virus, the Council on Chemical Abuse is taking all necessary precautions to keep our community safe and is following the lead of the state. Therefore, we have decided to cancel our community Narcan training scheduled for April 9. We will continue to monitor this fluid situation as it evolves and follow the mandates of health experts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. For any questions, please contact us.

If you are in immediate need of a Narcan Kit, please call 610-376-8669 Ext. 109 and we will make arrangements to get a kit to you.

This training is provided by the Council on Chemical Abuse and the RISE Center. Topics discussed will include:

  • Recognizing the signs and symptoms of opioid use
  • Responding to an opioid overdose by administering naloxone
  • Supporting an overdose victim after they have been revived

Everyone who attends will receive a free Narcan® Kit supplied by COCA. Narcan® is a brand name for Naloxone. No registration is necessary.
