The Council on Chemical Abuse, in partnership with the SOS Berks Opioid Coalition, has scheduled upcoming online trainings as part of a leadership series. These interactive ZOOM-based trainings will be conducted by the Pennsylvania Recovery Organizations Alliance (PRO•A). PRO•A is the statewide non-profit, 501(c)(3) grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery and educating the public on addiction and recovery.
The trainings were created for persons in recovery and their allies.
All trainings are FREE but registration is required. Three PCB credits are offered.

Leadership Skills for Peer Leaders
“Effective Leadership, Advocacy, and Mentoring – Why It is Important for Our Future”
This three-hour training is designed to engage persons in recovery in becoming active leaders and mentors for the recovery movement. The virtual training will include opportunities for participant interaction.
