Virtual Prevention Lesson: Teens & Tech

This is a two-part lesson intended for middle school students. Part one will take place on Monday, 9/21 at 9:30 a.m., and part two will take place on Thursday 9/24 at 9:30 a.m. Each session will last 45 minutes to 1 hour. Prevention Specialist Paige Carroll will talk with students about the benefits of technology in their daily lives, as well as its dangers, including technology addiction. She will discuss what technology addiction looks like, look at the parallels between gaming and gambling, and help students identify ways to unplug.
