ONLINE TRAINING: Practical Applications of Confidentiality

Training Description

This course will present a multitude of case studies and scenarios, challenging clinicians to make the correct application of the law as it pertains to each case. THIS COURSE DOES NOT FULFILL THE REQUIREMENT OF THE 6 HR CONFIDENTIALITY COURSE. Participants must bring their copy of the Confidentiality manual. Three Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) credits will be offered for this workshop.

This training is sponsored by the Council on Chemical Abuse and the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs.

This training will be held online and REQUIRES each individual to be logged in on their own computer. Individuals may not share a computer. Individuals may not use a cell phone to attend this training. All individuals MUST have a working video camera and microphone TURNED ON for the duration of the training.

About the Trainer

Sarah Davis received her Master’s Degree from University of Maryland in 1994. She has been working in the field of drug and alcohol both in clinical and management positions since 1991. She has been an approved Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs trainer since 1997, both teaching classes and working in curriculum development.
