Each week in July, COCA provided about 900 activity booklets to camps, libraries and summer programs in Berks County. Each booklet included a game board with fun activities and valuable prevention lessons.

CAMP Challenge Details

Program details

  • Weekly CAMP Challenge activity booklets were available FREE from participating sites from June 29 through July 27. Each booklet focused on a different prevention topic and included a game board with fun challenge activities.
  • For each challenge completed, participating families/children colored in a game board tile. At the end of each week they were invited to share a picture of their completed game board in a Facebook post with the hashtag #COCACAMPCHALLENGE.
  • At the end of our summer CAMP, the partner location with the most posts won a gift card to host a pizza party!

About Prevention in Pajamas 10-minute Parent Videos

Parents play the most important roll in prevention. To accompany the COCA CAMP Challenge, we have created a series of 10-minute videos for parents called Prevention in Pajamas. Each video will correspond to the weekly CAMP topic to guide prevention efforts at home. Information regarding Prevention in Pajamas will be in the weekly booklets and posted below!
